i am expecting not to post any new year resolutions for 2009 cos' i never fulfill any, so what's the point?

but its been an old tradition for people to make resolutions into the new year, so like always, i'll make a few resolutions, promise to fulfill them and at the year end, look back and realise i've not achieve, then make a new ones and promise i will achieve them... (and it goes on...)

so here it goes.

resolution 1: study hard.

resolution 2: less clubbing. less drinking.

resolution 3: save more. spend less.

resolution 4: do not worship my bed too much (stop being a sloth).

resolution 5: spend more time at home.

resolution 6: fulfill all the above.

looking back at 2008.

much had happen, especially Beijing Olympic which was the talk of the town. however, it was a turbulent year. bad economy. not having a very good relationship with my mum. bad luck, and all...

but luckily, i met my boy.

that's the only thing that was good in 2008.

been neglecting this blog these few days, or maybe the past weeks.
haha. i'm not sure what i'm up to recently. just plain lethargic. ha
anyway, pictures as promise. finally uploaded them from my new phone (LG Viewty). not a very good phone though as compared to the new C905 from SE. (my dream phone)...
but its picture quality is still not bad.

christmas eve this year was a damn memorable one.
bbq got drenched because of the rain,
and someone please remind me not to set any bbq again, especially on monsoon season.
had a cosy night with baby, near home, when the bbq ended.

christmas was spend at my place, baby drop by and had curry chicken, then off to PS, and then to Suntec. wanted to have Kushin Bo for dinner but there was a queue and its rather expensive too. settled for Japanese sushi at Ichiban Boshi.

aimless this new year eve.
baby's in camp for duty,
clubbing/countdown will be too crowded,
everyone has plans and no one is free to accomodate me.
BOO! LOL.
think i'll spend the day sleeping and be on the phone with baby.
i'll be the first to wish him HAPPY 2009!

its gonna be a tough year ahead,
with the recession and all...
its going to be gloomy. very.
nevertheless, be positive.
Obama will make everything go well again. i think so.

crap. been thinking of quitting my job, cos its so tiring and i broke my nail. HAHA - bimbo.
but then i will have lesser 'ka-ching'. think i will just finish off with this week and not work on the week of christmas and the weekends after christmas. more time with my boy, since he's going to be in camp often liao.

need to work harder next sem - i always say this b4 the start of the semester but then forget about it throughout the sem and regret not working hard while waiting for the results to be out.

number 1: my bf dropped his handphone in the cab. Initially the cab driver refused to pick up the calls made and then subsequently he turned off the phone. - FUCK!

number 2: starhub shop at causeway point is crap. went to cancel the old SIM card but in the end she did not, not only that, she created more problem. - DOUBLE FUCK!

number 3: called starhub customer service, was put on hold on that damn answering machine for over 15mins. - call this excellent customer service huh?!

number 4: lucky that guy who attended to my called redeem all their stupid faults.

number 5: now, just pray hard they sort everything out soon. and i can contact my boy again.

finally, doomsday came to an end.

my life is so fucked up right now.

fell terribly sick 2 days before my paper.
went to exam hall feel under the weather.
2 papers so far, and i think i may flunk.

went to watch the movie "REC" ystd.
and for almost half of the show, i was hidding behind my boy.
damn it... i was real scary. not those kind of scares u get while watching horror movies... but its the suspense that scare the shit out of me! lol.
another reason why i hid behind was because i got really nauseated
its not for those who get motion sickness eaily la, cos of the way its being filmed.

but its by far the scariest movie i've seen. lol.
good recommendation to those who aren't easily spooked.

WOHOO! i've completed my virgin marathon!!
the timing was better than the training run...
10km in 1:25hr
not very fast but it was 8 minutes faster than the training run.
next year there will be more marathons to go...

somehow, even though tiring, i'm starting to like marathons like this.
endurance and determination.
and when you sweat like a cow, it feels so good. lol.

had my 10km New Balance training run this morning.
woke up at a frigging 530am!
but the the scene along the run was panoramic.
you can see the sea, changi airport control tower, see airplanes land and take off and hear the rumblings from the engine.
HAHA.

the run itself was tiring,
4km of trail (sand and mud),
0.6km of sand (by the beach)and 5.4km of road.
the trail was probably the toughest of all, cos its so damn dirty.
clocked 1:33hr, which was hell slower than mr peh who ran 15km in 1:15hr. SHIT!
but its an accomplishment, i've max-ed out.
the NB REAL RUN is in 2 weeks time.
gotta work towards improving my timing and keep training for Army Half Marathon next year.

was only blocked by some stupid trees when the fireworks are shot low

so its time to put money back in.

but i am still glad to accompany anyone if you need shopping khakis.
window shopping is still good, cos' it motivates me to save MORE!
haha.

if only i had such motivation in studies.

hopefully, this weekend will be drown in pumping tempo and never ending alcohol.
anyway, anyone going overseas or know where to get duty free alcohol please let me know.

i've quarreled with my mum again.
actually it been going on for many days already.

things come in pair. especially bad ones.

i don't feel like saying any thing these days.

its so stressful and suffocating to be at home

its movie ystd night.
i am glad people called me out at the right time, even though they've got no idea how important is it for me to get out and clear my thoughts.

anyway, "Wanted" is such a crap.
haha. its entertaining but equally stupid.
the stunts are way beyond believable and the ending is like D.U.H
the only person that saved the whole show was Angelina Jolie.
she's so darn H.O.T.
